For secondary crushing, cone crusher is usually recommended. Compared with impact crusher, cone crusher is more suitable for hard stone because it uses compression crushing and has better wear performance. Depending on the final size requirement, one or two cone crusher stages may be used.
After crushing, a vibrating screen separates the final aggregate into different sizes. If the buyer needs manufactured sand or better particle shape, a sand making machine can be added after cone crushing. This is common for concrete aggregate and high-quality road construction material.
When buying a granite crushing plant, pay attention to the full system rather than only the main crusher. The screen must have enough area, the conveyors must match the production capacity, and the control system should allow stable operation. Wearing parts quality is especially important because granite can consume liners faster than limestone.
Capacity planning is also important. A 100 tph granite plant has a very different configuration from a 300 tph plant. Buyers should provide maximum feed size, final product sizes, working hours, and site condition before asking for a quotation.
